Looking at the Glass Half Full

Just this past year I had a tough conflict presented in my life. In my high school soccer career, we had made a good run in CIF playoffs but yet lost against Servite, At the time it seemed as if we had lost the world cup, tears rolling down our faces and our heads lowered, we all felt really crappy. I had not taken the loss well and felt a big chunk of our loss was due to my mediocre performance. Looking at this conflict now, I know I would've been sad because of our loss. But I wouldn't of put so much pressure on myself just being a sophomore. I am glad I can have another two chances at making an even better run. And hope to get better every day.

  1. Hi Coleman, I can relate to this post because I am also a sophomore on varsity and understand that we don't have as much pressure on us, and we also have two more years to improve and rise to the competition that is presented to us at the level of varsity. I think it's great that you can look back on your loss as a learning experience, because that is something I have yet to be able to do!
